Local | Temescal Alley, Oakland, CA

Ever since starting this journal, it has been so fun and sweet to look back on this year and see the adventures shared with friends and loved ones. Temescal Alley is tucked towards the north side of Oakland, that is filled with local shops and creative vibes. A group of us who shared the same interest in photography decided to take a little adventure around our local neighborhood in Oakland! We first picked up some refreshing cold brew at The CRO cafe, and windowed shopped at Walrus, where they house and repurpose vintage items. Afterwards, we spent a good while going gaga over the beautiful air plants and succulents at Crimson Horticulture Rarities. I was sold and immediately took a little air plant with me! We then ended on a sweet note at Curbside Creamery. If you're looking for an afternoon date with friends or a significant other, Temescal Alley is a great place to stop by!

Metropolitan Links Wedding | Jason & Diana

It's amazing how fast time flies, but still so sweet to look back at the vows that Jason and Diana made five months ago at the Metropolitan Links in Oakland, CA. I have known Jason since high school, and this wedding in particular is one that is close to my heart. Diana and I share the same weakness in loving cute, furry kitties. In college, she also taught me how to knit - which led to my first handmade scarf for my husband! I am thrilled to share a couple of snippets of their special day.

Travel | Santiago, Chile

Three months ago, my husband and I were sent from our church with a short-term mission team to Santiago, Chile. When we signed up, we didn't know what to expect since it would be our first time in South America. After crossing the equator, we found ourselves spending in their winter - which was a pleasant escape from the heat of the summer.

We spent most of our time on the campus of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, but were able to also explore other parts of the country's capital. Santiago is truly a gem, and a trip that my husband and I will never forget.
