Last year, one of my goals was to attend a workshop with hopes to learn more about refining my brand and art of photography. I am so grateful that Jeremy Chou hosted a one-day workshop in San Francisco, alongside with the skillful creative direction from Natalie Choi Events - two vendors who I've always wanted to meet or work with! I greatly admire Jeremy Chou not only for his sense of artistic style, but also his approachable nature, and his intent on teaching and sharing his experience with others. 

Through his workshop, I especially took away the importance of consistency, and the subtle nuances of posing my subject. Not only did I learn much, but had the opportunity of photographing a gorgeous set up by an amazing team! It was a memorable experience that I will never forget!

A vivid memory of photographing the Woos as we spent the early morning together in the crisp, cool air of autumn. The illuminating light was simply captivating as it passes through the trees' trunks and branches, making everything around it, including the parents and their baby girl, aglow.

My husband and I recently celebrated four sweet years of marriage by exploring New York City for the first time. We spent most of our time in Manhattan, either walking in the streets of the city or wandering through pockets of lush nature. 

For many years, I was especially enamored by the ethereal beauty of autumn in the east coast, which soon became an item on my bucket list. My husband and I thus spent one of the mornings walking through Central Park, taking in the changing foliage. We loved how peaceful it was, and felt as though we had the park to ourselves! 

New York is an incredible city filled with romance and timeless pieces. There is something about the city that sets itself apart for its rich history and iconic buildings, and we loved every moment we spent there - from lingering in the cafe or taking in the cityscape at the High Line. My husband and I were so grateful to make memories there together, and is a destination we will look forward to visiting again in the future!
